GM380

The Motorola GM380 is an advanced 255 channel 25W analogue mobile radio mostly seen in VHF (136 - 174MHz) or UHF (403 - 470MHz) bands.
These radios will perform some serious tricks that most people think only digital radios will perform (selective calling / contact lists etc).
The huge display makes these my favourite analogue radios.

The main disadvantage with these is that when the control head is connected to the radio body, the numeric keypad takes up the space normally reserved for the speaker, so you need an external speaker which plugs into the rear accessory socket.
With the remote head kit on the other hand, a speaker is fitted to the part of the kit which accepts the control head.
These radios are discontinued (no longer manufactured).
