The DR3000 (now discontinued) is a repeater capable of both DMR and/or analogue at 100% duty cycle.
DR3000 Memory:
Originally all DR3000 models had 8MB memory but this wasn't enough to contain all the features which were developed later. This necessitated the production of 32MB versions.
As a result, the early 8MB versions can not support any of the later features such as Linked Capacity Plus,Capacity Max or IP Remote Programming.
Tanapa Codes:
All Motorola radios are made up of individual smaller parts. Each small part has a unique "code" which is known as a Tanapa. When all the individual parts are put together to form a product assembly, the completed product is assigned a Super Tanapa (S/Tanapa).
Deducing Memory:
The only reliable way to check which memory version you have (8MB/32MB), you must check the S/Tanapa on the sticker located on the rear of the repeater. The Tanapa which can be veiwed in CPS is not the full Tanapa code, so cannot be relied upon.
