Sepura Antennas
Sepura Antennas
digitalradiohacker.co.uk is being rebuilt - Pages will move and appear broken!
Sepura portable antennas are colour coded by the frequency band they cover ONLY for the handset they are supposed to be mated to.
Once an antenna is separated from a handset, there is no way to tell what it is!
For example:
A Yellow dot antenna for an SRP/H series covers 440 - 473MHz
A Yellow dot antenna for an STP series covers 407 - 473MHz
The bit of the antenna that you can see is only HALF. The other "half" is the groundplane of the radio board, and bit of capacitive coupling to your body. For this reason, you shouldn't really mix and match antennas across radio models.
